PIXHOST LEGAL

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 27, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Pixhost. By accessing the service, uploading content, using the API, or sharing Pixhost links, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope and eligibility

"Pixhost" means the image hosting service available through pixhost.to, pixhost.cc, pixho.st, and their related image, thumbnail, and API hosts. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms.

If you use Pixhost on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. The service

Pixhost allows users to upload, store, process, share, and embed images and galleries. Features, limits, supported formats, domains, and availability may change at any time.

Pixhost is a public image host, not private or encrypted storage. Anyone who obtains an image or gallery URL may be able to access and share it. Do not upload confidential or sensitive material.

3. Your content

You retain any ownership rights you have in content you upload. You are solely responsible for that content and must have all rights, permissions, and legal grounds required to upload and distribute it.

You grant Pixhost a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, cache, transmit, display, resize, convert, create thumbnails from, and otherwise process your content only as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for temporary backups, technical caches, and copies retained where required by law.

4. Prohibited content

You must not upload, link to, request, or distribute content that:

  • depicts, promotes, or facilitates child sexual abuse or the sexual exploitation of minors, including synthetic, generated, or illustrated sexual content involving minors or persons appearing to be minors;
  • contains non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual violence, voyeuristic material, or content shared without the depicted person's consent where consent is required;
  • infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property or personal rights;
  • is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, or unlawfully harassing, or unlawfully promotes terrorism, violence, or discrimination;
  • exposes personal data, credentials, financial information, or other private information without authorization;
  • contains malware, malicious code, phishing material, deceptive downloads, or files disguised as images; or
  • otherwise violates applicable law or the rights and safety of another person.

5. Adult content

Lawful adult content may be uploaded only when every depicted person is an adult who consented to both the creation and distribution of the content. Adult content must be marked using the available adult or NSFW classification.

Pixhost may remove adult content, restrict access to it, or disable uploads where age, consent, legality, or correct classification cannot be reasonably established.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • abuse the service, overload infrastructure, evade technical limits, or interfere with normal operation;
  • use unauthorized automation, scrape the service excessively, or bypass the official API and upload controls;
  • circumvent an upload ban, content restriction, deletion, security measure, or rate limit;
  • use Pixhost for spam, phishing, malware distribution, traffic laundering, or other deceptive activity; or
  • impersonate Pixhost or falsely suggest that Pixhost endorses your content.

7. Links, embedding, and API use

Generated image, thumbnail, gallery, and show-page links may be shared or embedded. API and automated uploads must use supported endpoints and comply with published limits and documentation.

Pixhost may rate-limit, block, redirect, replace, or disable links when necessary to address abuse, unlawful content, excessive resource consumption, security risks, or service changes. Pixhost does not guarantee that any URL or embedding behavior will remain unchanged permanently.

8. Moderation, removal, and reports

Pixhost may review, classify, restrict, disable, or remove content, galleries, links, or access to the service when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated, when we receive a sufficiently substantiated notice, when required by law, or when necessary to protect users or infrastructure.

We may preserve relevant records and cooperate with competent authorities where legally required, particularly in matters involving child safety, threats to life or safety, fraud, or other serious unlawful activity.

Illegal content, copyright infringement, and other abuse can be reported through the Report abuse page. Reports should identify the exact Pixhost URLs and include enough information for us to assess the request.

9. Technical and anti-abuse data

To operate and protect the service, Pixhost may process technical information such as IP addresses, request logs, upload metadata, cookies, device and browser information, and security events. We may use service providers and network-intelligence data to identify proxies, VPNs, Tor nodes, hosting networks, automated traffic, and addresses associated with abuse.

This information may be used to investigate incidents, enforce these Terms, prevent misuse, apply upload restrictions, and comply with legal obligations.

10. Storage and availability

Pixhost is provided as a hosting service, not as a backup or archival service. Content may be unavailable, corrupted, moved, or deleted without notice due to moderation, technical failure, maintenance, inactivity, legal requirements, or service changes. You must keep your own copies of important content.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage, a particular level of performance, or recovery of deleted content.

11. Pixhost intellectual property

The Pixhost name, branding, software, page design, and service components are owned by Pixhost or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use Pixhost branding or proprietary technology except as necessary to use the service normally.

12. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pixhost is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be secure, error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose, or that user content will be accurate, lawful, or available.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pixhost and its operators, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of profits, business interruption, or damages resulting from user content or inability to access the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pixhost and its operators from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or another person's rights.

15. Suspension and termination

Pixhost may suspend or terminate access, block uploads, or remove content immediately where necessary to enforce these Terms, comply with law, respond to security or operational risks, or protect third parties. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent restrictions.

You may stop using Pixhost at any time. If you have deletion links or other removal controls, you remain responsible for keeping them secure.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, law, security practices, or business operations. The revised Terms take effect when posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Pixhost after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. General terms

These Terms constitute the agreement between you and Pixhost regarding the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute must be brought before a court or authority with competent jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

18. Contact

For content, copyright, or legal notices, use the Report abuse page and provide the requested information.
